A selection committee headed by Chief Secretary of Kerala State Government had recommended the name of Jorty M Chacko following the end of the tenure of current CEO, which was sanctioned by the State Cabinet. The RBI had earlier given nod to his appointment. Mr.Jorty took over as CEO of Kerala after having served as Executive Director ( Retail Banking Division) of IDBI for five years. He brings with him a long banking experience of four decades, having served in both old and new generation private banks, as well as in nationalised Bank.
